Day 1: Fes → Meknes → Volubilis → Chefchaouen (~4 hours drive)

The tour begins with an early pick-up from Fes airport or your accommodation. We first head to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities and former capital under Sultan Moulay Ismail. Highlights include the monumental Bab Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani reservoir, the royal stables and granaries, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Free time for lunch in the city.

A short 30-km drive brings us to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved Roman archaeological sites in North Africa, with striking mosaic floors, columns and triumphal arches still standing among the ruins.

From Volubilis, we continue north through Ouazzane into the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco, famous for its blue-washed medina walls and winding alleyways. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 2: Chefchaouen → Rabat (~4 hours drive)

A free morning to explore more of Chefchaouen’s blue medina at your own pace, before we drive south through the Rif Mountains to Rabat, Morocco’s political capital and another of its imperial cities, set on the Atlantic coast.

In Rabat, we visit the unfinished Hassan Tower and the adjoining Mausoleum of Mohammed V, followed by the Kasbah of the Oudayas, a fortified quarter of blue-and-white streets overlooking the mouth of the Bou Regreg river. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 3: Rabat → Casablanca → Marrakech (~3.5 hours drive)

We follow the Atlantic coastline to Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital and largest city. Here we visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in Africa, its minaret overlooking the ocean.

We continue to the Corniche, Mohammed V Square, and a stop at the famous Rick’s Café, before driving inland to Marrakech, the “Red City” and one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Free time in the evening to explore the lively Jemaa el-Fna square.

A full day exploring Marrakech’s historic quarter with a local guide. Day 6: Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Dunes → Camel Trek → Desert Camp (~5 hours drive)

After breakfast, we drive through the scenic Dades Valley with a stop at a panoramic viewpoint, then continue to the spectacular Todra Gorges, where the Todra River has carved a dramatic canyon between towering red cliffs. Free time to walk into the gorge on foot.
